About Us.

Hello my name is Claire and I have been working in hairdressing for 17 years. It was about 4 years ago after the birth of my son when I struggled emotionally with the changes and actually started to pick my hair out due to anxiety. This has since gotten under control but I was faced with having to source my own wig, which was very expensive and so so hard to find something realistic that was both comfortable and beautiful. So I sourced my own hair and materials, curating what I believe to be the perfect wig for myself.

Word travelled pretty fast in the alternative hair world and people just loved my wigs and would contact me to make something for them. That is how EL. SÍ. JAÉ was born. I understand the challenges faced by women who have hair loss for whatever reason.

I know just how daunting it is and I love that I can offer women a safe and private salon space if they are close by, or alternatively, a video/call consult and make it as simple as possible for them. I love that I can personally offer those clients advice and perspective from both a hairdressers eye, but also as someone who personally went through hair loss. It really does simplify everything for a client!

Supportive Sidekick.

All of the wigs and toppers that I create are an absolute labour of love. Every single strand of hair is threaded in one by one. Perfectly curated and positioned to mimic a natural head of hair. The costs of quality wigs and toppers will always reflect this. Using a machine would be quicker yes, however, not as personalised and perfect for the unique individual I am working with.

I’ve been there with hair loss, not knowing a thing or where to start. After the years of having to navigate my way through wig shopping, I hope to help clients not go through the same expensive and confusing roller coaster of wig buying that I initially experienced.
